In these classes we try to target as many muscles as time allows, with special focus placed on stretching, range of motion and strengthening the lumbar and abdominal muscles, to help improve overall stabilisation. The classes are very small (rarely exceeding 6 patients) to assure that the supervising biokineticist can assist and monitor each individual during the session.

Rehabilitation or exercise programmes that place emphasis on strength, core stability and proprioception (balance) will help reduce the risk of lower back pain – particularly when exercises are done correctly, and on a regular basis.
